My Daily Life In Your Home

The Arrival Day:

I will arrive at your home at a time of your choosing, I can arrive after you’ve left for your trip or just before you’ve left, whichever works best for your situation and pets. After getting myself situated in the home with my overnight bags and greeting the animals, the first thing I’ll do it check all the waters to make sure they are full and the bowls are clean.

The rest of the day will be spent in an area where I can hear or see the animals at all times, living room or kitchen. I am currently finished an Accounting Degree online, so between taking dogs out to use the restroom or hanging out with the cats on the couch I’ll be getting my assignments done. Any scheduled snacks or routines will be done throughout the day, I will set alarms on my phone to keep to the schedule that the animals are used to.

At the end of the day, I’ll feed the animals their dinner, check waters once more, and clean any litter boxes as necessary. Dogs will get one last time outside before it gets too dark to use the restroom and any evening routines will be done before bed.

The Between Time:

The days between the Arrival and Departure will be same as the day I arrived in the home; following the routines the animals are accustom to, making sure they are fed and watered, and keeping the house picked up from any pet hair or messes.

I will also be bringing the mail or any packages into the house, taking out the trash as necessary, and making sure the dishes that I use are cleaned before the day is over. I can also put trash bins at the end of the driveway on trash day if necessary or applicable.

The Departure:

As with the day of Arrival, I can leave the house on the last day of the petting sitting whenever necessary. I can stay in the home until you’ve returned from your trip, leave an hour or so before you’re about to come home, or leave as soon as the animals have had their morning routine done.

The first thing I will do after getting the animals done this day is pack all my things and place them in my car, then I will do a sweep through the rooms that I’ve used, wiping down any counters and collecting any small trash cans from bathrooms. I’ll clean any dishes before I leave, take out the trash and put a fresh bag in, and I’ll strip the guest bed I’ve used and clean the sheets. I’ll put fresh sheets on the bed and let the dogs go potty before I leave the house. I will also communicate when I’ve left over text.
